The purposes of RMS includes maintaining and improving the education of blacksmiths of all skill levels, educating the public regarding blacksmithing, and serving as a blacksmithing resource to all interested persons.
Membership benefits include a subscription to FORGE FACTS, the quarterly newsletter of the RMS, free classified ads in FORGE FACTS, reduced fees for RMS sponsored workshops and conferences, access to the RMS Library of blacksmithing books and video tapes, the opportunity to expand your knowledge of blacksmithing through participation in periodic meetings and other special workshops throughout the year, and the right to vote on various corporate matters.
